I wanted to
share a few pics of my new 2001 GT.
It's a Laser Red Tinted Clear Coat Premium 5 speed with Dark Grey Leather
Interior. Mach 460 w/6 Disc In dash CD Changer.
It's been a long time since I've owned a Mustang. In fact, 1995 I had
a 90 GT and since then have always owned F-odies, but the new styling
and power of the latest GT's have swayed me back to Ford.
I spent about a month doing research on the prices, options, etc and
finally took that leap of faith and started negotiating with a few salesmen
at various Ford Dealerships in my area. I finally found a dealership
willing to bend over backwards to put me in a new Mustang (as rare as
that may seem). The only obstacle in my path was them finding me a Laser
Red Premium 5 speed but given 3 to 4 days they found one and brought
it to the lot. I picked her up On Wed April the 4th and have been totally
enjoying every minute I spend behind the wheel. I forgot how much fun
driving could be.
I didn't waste anytime with the mods either. I've got 2 chamber Flowmasters,
a Home-made K&N Cold Air (Thanks to MW) a Diablo Performance chip,
tinted the windows and added a Sub to help with some extra bass from
the Mach 460 Stereo.
