Michael W's 98 3.8L With the latest influx of Mach 1 discussions I just wanted to share my own Mach 1 vision. Having grown up with many 69-73 Mach 1s in the family I wanted to give my 98 3.8L plain Jane mustang a Retro Mach 1 look. I started with the black trim on the taillights and hood. Then I had to modify the side stripes since no stripe manufacturer had the correct font. I then decided to add a K&N filter for a little performance grade then finally a little Mach 1 modification to the interior. My future plans call for dual exhaust, 01 GT wheels, and maybe further retro on the interior. However, every dime I put into the 98 is one less dime that goes into my 70 fastback.
