Richard's Project Stangs
Toronto, Canada

I live in
Toronto, Canada and here are the project cars.
1st is the 1988 LX coupe purchased as a 4-banger at a cost of $500.the
car was stripped down to just the empty shell and a 1992 5L LX from
the auction became the donor car. Motor, tranny and black interiorwas
installed. rear end came from a 89 with 3:27 gear, stock heads port
and polished, mac equal lenght headers, 2-chamber flowmasters, march
pulleys, 73mm mass air sensor, mac cool air induction, ported stock
intake, msd coil,
splitfire plugs, taylor wires and strut tower brace. Dech skirt pkg
was installed with ford oxford white with blue pearl painted by GT
Autoworks.
2nd is the 1985 GT this is my friends stang. This project was a little
bit more tricky we converted the car from carb to f.i. Most of the
parts we picked up from Summit racing equipment that was a long drive
through the U.S. nice scenery. Now my friend went more serious than
i did and picked up a set of Trick flow aluminum heads, mac unequal
lenght headers, mac pulleys, cobra intake, 80mm mass air sensor, mac
cool air inductions 36lb injectors, centreforce clutch, pro 5.0 shifter,
110lph fuel pump. dynomax mufflers, wiring
harnass was the biggest pain in the conversion mixing a 86 with a
89. 92 front and rear end brakes 3:08 gears.(wanted a hwy gear). Dech
skirt pkg with a wild blue pearl mixed my GT Autoworks.
3rd is my latest project 1991 5L mostly stock, ported stock heads,
ported intake unequal lenght headers, pulleys, 2-chamber flowmaster
exhaust, 3:73 gears dual friction centreforce clutch, hurst shifter,
17" ROH 275-40-17 rear, 245-40-17 in the front, kyb struts/shocks,
Paint is from a BMW M5 Lemans blue metallic.Waiting for a NOS Stage
1 75 hp shot to come. and switching the gears to a 3:08 i think it
will work better with the NOS.
