Henry P's 00 GT
Here is my 2000 Special Edition/Spring Feature GT, with auto transmission. I bought it new in January 2001, and it only has 7,000 miles on it. It's stock, except for a K&N and 4.10s. I race it at Bandimere Raceway outside of Denver, where my best time at approximately 5800' altitude is 15.4 at 91 mph. This would translate to roughly mid-14s at a more race-friendly altitude. I have a set of "C" springs waiting to be installed, and a new exhaust (Mac long tube headers, Pro Chamber, and Supertrapp mufflers) is on order. I'm planning to get a stall converter later this summer, and long-term plans call for a Saleen blower and a stroker kit. The pictures were taken at the Bandimere All Ford Day on July 1, when I placed second in the 5.0 Mustang Shootout class, after surviving 8 rounds of racing. I also race at Bandimere's Club Clash events, competing for the Colorado Street Machine Association.
