Here are some
pics of my 1999 Saleen S-281. It was a non-supercharged automatic
version #429. I have done some modifications to it since i bought
it in the fall of 99.
Modifications:
-K & N Generation 2 FIPK kit
-Flo-master 2 chamber kat back system
-Saleen Roots supercharger
-18" x 9" 265/35 Z rated and 18" x 10" 295/35
Z rated rear chrome saleen rims.
-Saleen Recaro leather seats
-Pioneer cd player w/ organic cell graphics that display pictures
of a rotating city, planets, dolphins in bright blue.
-3 MTX 5000 series 10" subs pushed by a JBL 800 watt amp w/ built
in crossover.
-Xenon light bulbs
Future mods:
-Saleen brake upgrade to vented 13" front brakes
-NOS for even more HP!!!!
-PIAA foglights
-Saleen carbon fiber hood
-Looked at making it into a convertable so i could add the roll bar
and tonneua cover, but i'm afraid the top might leak, plus i would
loose the 4 speakers that are behind the rear seats where the convertable
top would fold down into. Can't loose the tunes guys!!!!
