Marcus' 99 Cobra Convertible This is a picture of my 1999 Cobra Convertible. It's black with a tan top and tan leather interior. The car is bone stock mechanically. Exterior mods include a Saleen lighted roll bar, 18 inch Saleen wheels 18 X 9 all the way around with 265/35/18 Michelin MMX3's.
This is my sixth stang in the last 4 years and believe me when I say it rides incredible. I have owned a 95GT, a 96Saleen 351 w/ a supercharger, a 96 Mystic Cobra, a 97 Convertible GT ( automatic, slammed it to the ground and I got rid of the car within a week because the ride was so horrible) and a 97 Black Cobra Convertible, and traded a 98 Cobra Black Hardtop with black leather for this 99 Cobra Convertible.
I am truly hooked on the horses. Agood friend of mine lowered it for me by cutting the springs, you can only stick one finger between the fender lip and the top of the tire.(and no it does not bottom out or rub....) everyone thinks this car is a Mercedes or BMW.
This is what 99 Cobra should look like. I have had no losses in this car and I ran some 99GT's,96Vetts,98Cobra's, 99 SS Camaros and Z28's....No lies. The independent rear is excellent for street launching, once I'm out in front there ain't no way you're coming to get me.....:) proud 99 Cobra owner.
