Curtis' 99 Stang
(Iowa)

The car is totally stock and has not even gotten the K&N treatment. It went 9.38 at 77 mph in the 1/8 mile stone stock. This is definitely the fastest stock automatic Mustang I have ever driven. It even gets second gear chirps. If everything works out, the engine will come out this winter and get the balanced and forged piston treatment.

Hopefully Extude hone will work some magic on the heads. This will be for future (hopefully) incon twin turbo's. This was a standard GT. I just loved the 35th stuff so I added the hood and side scoops. Next the stock (read puke) spoiler came off and on went the Saleen 351 badboy next came all paint no stickers. Sorry, I just found your website so I didn't know about the inserts. Last but not least I got rid of the stockers for 17x9" cobra R's. This car turns heads wherever it goes.

This is not the only quality Stang I have built as one of my latest was in MM&FFords magazine in the July '98 issue. It was a '93 Cora lookalike Convertible('90GT) down to the last detail. I would like to get some coverage to let the guys on the coast know that us Midwesterners can have some bad rides as well.

Being from Iowa my car is now in the garage for the winter. At least it keeps the miles off and the tires on.
