V6 My name is Ben, a.k.a. "Big Poppa", and this is my '99 Mustang V6. When I saw this car at my hometown dealer, I knew I had to buy it. Yes, I could have gotten a Mustang GT for about $3,500 more, but since I plan on customizing, why spend more money for a V8 when a V6 will do. My very first car was a 1975 Ford Mustang II, with a four-cylinder engine. Although it didn't have the power, I still enjoyed driving it.
Now, I have my "Silver Bullet". I named my stang that for two reasons. The first, the color of course. The second, plans for customizing my stang with performance upgrades. I am going to have the factory exhaust system removed and replaced with a Flowmaster dual exhaust, as well as adding K&N's air filter system to also increase horsepower. Later on during the summer, I am having the Saleen hood, bumpers, and skirting added. Then, I am going to have the factory rims "dipped" in chrome to top off the new look. As for the interior, a customized sound system "built in the trunk" to go along with Ford's Mach 460 Sound System that came with the car. I have a sunroof and a taillight sequencer which I intend to have installed.
