T.J.'s 2000 Sunburst Gold GT Here it is, my 2000 Sunburst
Gold GT. I got the 5-speed manual (who wouldn't?). It took me forver
to find this one, as there was only one 5-speed GT in all of Northeast
Ohio when I was buying. However, I got my hands on this one and I love
it. I have yet to see another Gold GT. I've seen one Gold V-6, but there
is, of course, no comparison. My only mods so far are a K & N conical
filter, a short throw shifter (Kwik Shift), and the MW Wheel Horses
and Bumper Stripes (All you Stang owners out there, I HIGHLY recommend
the MW inserts). I have ordered the 35th Anniv. hood stripe, which should
arrive shortly and be installed. My only quarrel with the Mustang is
that my driver's side door is not installed quite right, and is hanging
about 3/8" too low in front, so the styling recess in the fender and
door don't match up. I'm dropping it off at the dealer to be fixed under
warranty, so I guess it's "no harm, no foul."
