99 V6
My car is a 99 V6, 5spd with
the Sport Appearance package. The car has run a best of 14.87 @ 93.
My current mods for the exterior: Chrome Cobra Rs (Superior Scoundrels)
with FMS "Ford" logos in place of the Superior centers, 245/45R17
Kellys, 35th Anniv. hood scoop w/modified Windstar "3.8L"
badges, a T-Bird "Sport" badge on the decklid, a Hollandia
power sunroof and tinted windows.
Mods for the interior (will have pics soon) are limited to a complete
satin kit from MGW Ltd. (headlamp switch knob, HVAC knobs, cig. lighter
and shift knob...very nice stuff!) 35th Anniv. floor mats, a 35th Anniv.
gauge cluster and a Autometer 2-gauge A-pillar with Boost and Fuel Pressure
gauges. Mods for the powertrain include K & N, MAC/Ford CAI, Mobil
1, Jacobs wires, B & M Ripper, take-off GT duals(no H or X), alum.
FMS driveshaft and traction-lok.
Mods already
purchased and to be installed are Powerdyne with custom 8 lbs. pulley,
Redline for the trans and diff., SVO rear end girdle and 3.73s.
