Mystic 96 Cobra Here is my 1996 Mystic Cobra. It is Cobra #5016 and Mystic #798 (Born 2/28/96) for the 96 model year. It was purchased used in July 1999 with 15,300 miles on it. The previous owner had leased it and traded it in on a minivan. It currently has 27,000 miles on it. Current modifications are
a Steeda Tri-Ax shifter, K&N air filter, and rewired foglites per
the Mustangworld articles. This car sees monthly SCCA autocross events,
and will see one or two high speed touring events this year as well.
Plans for the future are a new set of tires all the way around to replace
the original Goodrich Comp TAs that are still on it, as well as either
3.73 or 4.10 gears sometime this winter or next spring.
