This is my Step-fathers
'39 Ford Deluxe coupe. It has a 88HO 5.0 and AOD from a Lincoln LSC,
9"rear end with 3.73 gears, 4 wheel disc brakes and Mustang II
IFS. The car rides on Halibrand 14x6 wheels up front and 15x7 in the
rear with 255/70/15 tires to fill up the wheel wells. The engine has
the stock SpeedDensity EFI with FMS Headers and dual exhaust with Smitty
mufflers out the back. Inside the seats are power Tbird units that have
been recovered. The mirror is connected to the Lokar shifter and is
backlight for the tranny and turn signal indicators.
The car is orginal from Canada and all steel, and the original flat
head is at home getting rebuilt for a blown '29 street rod that is in
the works.
We show the car locally around Oregon and a few trips up to Washington
State and Canada where it has won 2 best of show awards. It was built
using all Ford parts and to be a driver! We drive about 2-5000 miles
