Jason's Gotcha
(00 Cobra R spotted)

I was driving along a street in London, Ontario (Canada) a few weeks ago, and I caught a glimpse of a rather unusual rear wing. My first thought was of a Cobra R, but what would a Cobra R be doing in a mall parking lot ?

MW Note: We know what you are thinking.. That's not what a Cobra R front looks like... Well, know that the entire lower front part of the 00 Cobra R's nose CAN be removed for street use. It can pop on and off fairly quickly. Can't see the side exhaust down there ? Rear window defrost delete ? We wish there was more light down there :-)

Being a mustang fan and owner of a 99 GT myself, my curiosity got the best of me, so I wheeled the truck around, and went in to see what it was. To my surprise, I was right, it was a Cobra R. Luckily, I had a camera with me, so I took a couple of shots.

I figured if they only make 300 of these things, then this is probably the only one I'll ever see on the street. - Jason
