Rick D's 98 GT
(Southern California)

1998 Atlantic Blue Mustang GT

Background info:
I bought my steed after about four months of heavy contemplation in the winter of 1998...I just started a new job and didn't have a lot of money to spend, so at the time my new car decision was to be between a Mercury Cougar and an Acura Integra. Yes yes, I know, the blasphemy. Then one day, I passed by a local dealership in Redlands and spotted this blue 98 stang in the lot...suffice to say my decision was sealed within a matter of minutes.

GT with full options (leather, power everything, manual, 17" GT rims)

Current engine mods: air snorkel removed, WMS powertube and K&N on its way. Castrol Syntech oil. Believe me, it won't stay stock for much longer. Future engine mods: platinum plugs, FRP plug wires, 190lb fuel pump, 99+GT intake, ATI Procharger (self lubricating) with intercooler

Current suspension mods: Tokico 5-way adustable shocks/struts, Eibach Sportline springs, Steeda caster/camber plates Future suspension mods: Maximum Motorsports rear adjustable lower control arms, Griggs coil over front and new K member, Kenny Brown strut/chassis braces and subframe connectors, Baer brake upgrades, steel braided brake lines, TRMotorsport Typhoon rims 18x8 front 18x9 rear, tires undecided

Future exhaust mods: Bassani X-pipes with cats, Borla mufflers, FRP or Bassani equal-length headers

Future drivetrain mods: Pro 5.0 shifter, FRP 3.73 gear, aluminum
drive-shaft

Current exterior mods: Dugan Racing clear corners, modified Classic chin spoiler, my cat that won't stop sleeping on the hood.

Future exterior mods: Saleen S281 rear wing, APC projector headlight conversion, Saleen fiberglass hood with pins, color matched side mirrors, stoopid mad vinyl graphics that say something like "Phat Cyber Stylez" across the hood...NOT!

Current interior mods: uh, an air freshener...and a pretty damn good one
Future interior mods: Cobra white gauges, bits and pieces color matched to the exterior

I hate having a "Future" list so much longer than my "Current" list, so I better damn well change that situation in the following months.
