Mustangworld tour of
Kaminari / Prototype Concepts
PAGE 4

Some fiberglass parts require metal hardware and bolts to be fitted to them like latches and hinges. Here in this area, this extra hardware is applied.

Another popular material for parts is urethane. Urethane is a form of soft plastic / rubber that is injected under high pressure into molds in this area.

Here workers clean up urethane parts that are removed from the molds.

Clear plastic parts (tail lights) are being packaged. Kaminari creates many different types of parts in different materials.

After each wing, hood, etc is created it is carefully inspected before moving it into the shipping department.

Here each part is packaged and ready for shipping to different customers around the world.

Pete, Pat and Ben are great guys and Kaminari / Prototype concepts create very high quality work which keeps them in demand with all different types of clients in many different industries.

We saw personal watercraft hulls, kit car bodies, interactive theme park / Vegas hotel rides, roller coaster seats, large pillars, indy car bodies, motorcycle bodies, and much more laying around there for different customers.

Their Fountain Valley facility opened our eyes to a company that we thought only created body kits and side skirts :-) We were impressed.

The new Mustang kit may be only the first in a line of things to come for stangs... :-)

Til next time... Se ya on the street !
