Step 8: You will notice that there were two grommets in the car that were used to hold the stock airbox in place. Put the grommets back in place and take the fittings that are supplied in the kit and push them into these grommets.

Step 9: Take the cold air fender well piece and attach it to the fender by sliding the tube through the hold in the fender well. Use the two screws to fasten the bracket to the two fittings that you pushed into the rubber grommets. Also, use the stock bolt and grommet to attach the top of the bracket to the fender, making sure that the flat side is facing the fender and the groove in the grommet is between the bracket.

Step 10: Attach the Mass Air Sensor to the flange on the tube with the gasket in the middle (I also rreused the metal screen) using the four bolts and nuts supplied in the kit. Tighten the bolts using a 3/8" and a 7/16" wrench.

Step 11: Attch the metal intake tube to the Throttle Body and the MAS using the rubber sleeves and the clamps provided in the kit. Adjust for clearance and then tighten the clamps to hold it all together.

Step 12: Reconnect the fittings connecteed to the mass air sensor and the air temp. sensor.

Step 13: Go underneath the car where the filter will be installed and you will see an electronic pump used to control emissions. Unbolt this pump and use the black metal bracket supplied in the kit to move the pump towards the front of the car in order to clear room for the filter. Use the supplied bolts to attach the bracket to the car using the origional holes in the fender. Use the stock bolts to attach the pump to the bracket. ( I first unbolted the pump, then installed the bracket, then attached the air filter to the cold air intake tube sticking in through the fender well, then lastly I re-attached the pump).

Unless you have some sort of hydraulic lift, getting under your car and moving the electronic pump and attaching the air filter will be the hardest part of the whole install because of the small amount of space you have to work in. After you're done, you can start it up and check for any loose connections. You can almost hear it sucking in the air. Good luck everyone.........See ya on the road.
